This trauma recovery consultation is geared towards clinicians new to the mental health profession and/or the field of trauma recovery who want to integrate traditional and non-traditional trauma-healing interventions embedded in anti-oppression, anti-racism and decolonizing practices. 

 

Clinical consultation is provided for groups & individual practitioners.

Trauma Recovery Focused

Group Consultation

Join a small, supportive cohort of 6-8 peers for 8 months, in which you’ll receive weekly lessons, coaching, consultation and support from me and from guest speakers from the field (that’s right, you won’t be learning just from me because let’s be honest, I don’t know everything, and it’s important to hear and learn from different voices).

To expand your understanding of trauma theory and traditional and non-traditional healing interventions for acute, complex and attachment trauma.

 

The impact of trauma on eco-systems, communities, attachment bonds, and relationship to Self: body, heart, brain, spirit and soul. 

 

To have a practice founded in anti-oppression, anti-racist and decolonizing practices.

 

To explore and integrate your own cultural, ancestral and traditional medicine with western psychotherapy.

 

To be who YOU are; not the cookie-cutter therapist we are expected to be.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

Clinical support through case review and consultation.

 

Support in the development of your authentic therapeutic voice, identity and presence.

 

Support to process the impact of this work on YOU - including, but not limited to:  burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.

 

Individual and group coaching to build a sustainable and regenerative clinical practice.

AEDP Supervision & EMDR Consultation

Whether you are working towards Certification, or just want to learn practical ways to integrate AEDP or EMDR in your trauma recovery practice, we work together to build your skills and confidence and help your clients move through trauma and heal.

I’ve been a practitioner of AEDP since 2010. 
I'm currently on the AEDP Supervision Track under the supervision of
Jennifer Edlin, MFT &

Jeanne Newhouse,  NYPsyD, - AEDP Senior Faculty members.

I’ve been a practitioner of EMDR since 2011.

I'm an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training (CIT) under the consultation of Elizabeth Legg, Phd, LPC, NCC, EMDRIA approved Consultant and Trainer.  

Current Offerings

AEDP: Individual Consultation Only 

EMDR: Individual consultation and current open group (see below).

 

EMDR Group: For therapists working with Complex PTSD and wanting to integrate EMDR with parts works, somatic, and attachment focused interventions. 

MEETS: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 9:00 - 11:00 am MST - Open group requiring an application to join. 

 

* Individual and Group Consultation hours counts toward your certification hours.
